I am happy to announce that I have been asked to become a full member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA). I have been an associate member for three years now and in that time have taken part in several exhibitions with the society. Drawing is a very important part of my practice and so it is great to be part of an organisation that focuses on that. I’ve been impressed with the standard of work by the other members and feel inspired whenever I see their art.
Drawing is something that has been with me since I was first able to pick up a pencil. It’s something that feels natural and is very enjoyable. I will be running a few drawing workshops over the next few months which will be aimed at all abilities including complete beginners. Learning to draw teaches us to look more closely at the world around us and helps us to see beauty and fascination with even the smallest of things.

I’m pleased to announce that my drawing ‘Llanfair Slate Caverns’ has been selected for the Society of Graphic Fine Art Annual Open Exhibition. This piece is one of a series of work inspired by my recent trip to North Wales. It will be a good show in a nice venue so do pop in if you’re in the area.
Visit the Society of Graphic Fine Art website to see a preview of the show.
